To our RemoteView Customers,

We’re notifying you of several issues we’ve encountered while testing the RemoteView App on iOS 7, Apple’s latest version of their mobile operating system, due September 18^th.

[Wi-Fi MAC Address Issues]

·         RemoteView Business won’t be able to retrieve the Wi-Fi MAC address of an iOS7 device.

·         Due to this issue, customers will not be able to manage access settings by MAC address.

·         The Restrict by Wi-Fi MAC Address setting will be unavailable on iOS7 devices.

We’re currently developing an alternative to the Wi-Fi MAC address authentication setting. We expect to have this updated by October.

Customers on the iPhone or iPad using the “Restrict Access by MAC Address” setting currently can expect a return to their normal user experience after updating the RemoteView application on their iOS7 device in October.
